This internal social network for companies needed a streamlined way for users to monitor, share, and post content from within the Hootsuite dashboard.
The Challenge
Hootsuite's API platform and Yammer's API needed to work together to create a bridge between the two services. The primary application would live on Hootsuite and was called a "stream integration." This stream app would allow a user to connect their Yammer channels in the Hootsuite dashboard so that they could see it in one centralized place with the rest of their social media content. Additionally, a plugin would enable users to easily share content from any stream onto their Yammer channels.
