Why we built it
A plumber under a sink, a physiotherapist with a patient, a shop owner at the till: they all miss calls, and a missed call is often a missed customer. Voicemail doesn’t help much, because most callers won’t leave one. A full-time receptionist or an answering service costs more than many small businesses can justify.
Revoice is a service we own and run. It gives a small business a friendly, natural-sounding AI receptionist that picks up, helps the caller, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What it does
- Answers like it works there. Each agent is trained on the business’s services, hours and common questions, so callers get useful answers, not a phone menu.
- Gets the details right. It takes messages and appointment requests and can pass a caller through to a person when needed.
- Keeps the owner in the loop. After every call, the owner gets a summary, a full transcript and the recording. A text message flags anything urgent.
- Works on the owner’s schedule. Calls can be forwarded after a few rings, after hours, or all day: whatever suits the business.
Real people behind the AI
Plenty of companies sell AI phone agents and leave you to set them up. We don’t think that works for a busy owner. With Revoice, our team in Nanaimo, BC builds a free demo agent around the business first, so the owner can call it and hear it before deciding. Then we handle the training, testing, launch and ongoing monitoring.
Behind the scenes, we built the parts that turn a phone call into something useful: the system that collects each finished call, emails the transcript and recording, and texts a summary with anything urgent flagged.
