The Challenge
Hootsuite, a leading social media management platform, needed a custom integration for Microsoft's Yammer — an internal social network for companies. Users needed to monitor, share, and post Yammer content directly from the Hootsuite dashboard.
The Solution
Midstride built a "stream integration" that bridges Hootsuite's and Yammer's APIs. The app lets users connect Yammer channels to their Hootsuite dashboard, viewing internal communications alongside their other social media streams. A plugin also enables sharing content from any stream directly to Yammer channels.
Hootsuite selected Midstride based on previous collaborations, and the majority of development was completed within two weeks.
Results
Since launch, the integration has served many users with very few bug reports or support tickets. Midstride continues to provide hosting and support for the application.
